Wanted to ask?

Here's a few of what we think the most common questions may be around ReGroup 2016

What is the dress requirement?

Smart casual (with comfortable closed shoes for the evening).

What do I need to bring?

We will provide you with pen and notebook. You only need to prepare and bring along the items listed here.

What do you mean by ‘smart casual’ dress?

There is no hard-and-fast rule. Basically the type of casual attire that represents you and CMG well. Perhaps the type of outfit you would wear to a restaurant for breakfast or lunch or to a nice function at a friend's house.

Why are some people only invited to Day 1?

We wanted to maximise the number of people exposed to day 1, so we extended invitations out to 73 people. Day 2 is a refresh of strategy, and we would be unable to facilitate this work with 70+ people in the room, so we have fewer people on day 2.

What is the agenda for the Business Unit conferences?

Your Business Unit leaders will share these with you, if they haven’t already.

Is there parking available at AGSM?

Yes, discounted parking is available. See details here.

Is there WiFi available at AGSM?

Yes, each room we use will have WiFi access. Details will be provided for your use throughout the conference.

What if I have an allergy or dietary requirement?

You have most likely already provided this information as part of the registration process. If you have not, please email Derek Wiseman.

Why are we staying at the Travelodge?

The Travelodge is a key AHS client and they have given us a preferential corporate deal (at a time when Sydney accommodation prices are high due to Chinese New Year).

What if I have questions or concerns regarding my accommodation at Travelodge?

Please refer all accommodation-related enquiries to Liz Anderson or Derek Wiseman. Travelodge is our client and they are managing a special corporate deal for us, as such, we are keen to ensure we have a coordinated point of liaison on our side.

Do we have transfers organised for the airport etc?

What happened to the fourth day of the original AGSM course?

Given all of the changes in the business and our team, since the original AGSM program, especially the appointment of Unit Managers, we decided to merge what was the fourth day of AGSM into this conference. In particular, we will reflect on recent Unit Management performance during day 1 and work with Patrick Sharry from AGSM to refresh our Business Unit and Group strategies on day 2.

Do I have to attend one of the symposiums?

Yes, these are a formal part of the conference agenda, and participants are required to choose one on the day and attend on a first in best dressed basis.

How do I choose a symposium and notify my choice?

You should review the details of the symposiums and identify those of the most relevance and interest to you. Immediately prior to the symposiums, we will organise people into groups. If there are too many people in any one symposium, we will ask people to consider their second preference
